Artist's Description

East of Mosquero, NM, this old house appears abandoned. Titled "Between the Living and the Dead" because the house sits between a living tree on the right and a dead tree on the left. As time passes the house will continue to decay and fall down; getting close to its death. Whenever I see a building that seems forgotten, but not yet gone, it makes me wonder about the family who lived there, the life they had, what it looked like when it was new, and why it has been forgotten and left to rot. If you are looking for a wall art that conveys a message, this might be it. I like this image printed or on canvas.

I began my photographic journey in 1972 with a 35mm SLR camera. I learned quickly that I could control the way an image looked and make it look much better than most amateur photographers. Over the following decades, my interest in photography grew as I pursued a career in the high tech industry. Over the years I was encouraged by many friends to turn my "hobby" into a profession. It wasn't until 2002 that I took action and began my professional photography career on a part time basis. From 2002 through 2014 I learned and grew a LOT!
