Artist's Description
A lush field of vibrant bluebonnets stretches across the landscape, framed by large, leafy trees under a moody, cloud-filled sky. The sight evokes a sense of serene beauty and calm in nature. In the spring Texas Bluebonnets line the roadways, cover hillsides, cover fields, and are found all over Texas. Whenever I encounter one of these Bluebonnet fields, I stop and think about how nature is so beautiful. My process is to stand or sit and take in the view. My mind calms and I give myself time to find the best perspective for enjoying what God has made. This image is best printed on metal which will make the colors pop and will give the image a shine that shows off the view.
About Patrick Steger
I began my photographic journey in 1972 with a 35mm SLR camera. I learned quickly that I could control the way an image looked and make it look much better than most amateur photographers. Over the following decades, my interest in photography grew as I pursued a career in the high tech industry. Over the years I was encouraged by many friends to turn my "hobby" into a profession. It wasn't until 2002 that I took action and began my professional photography career on a part time basis. From 2002 through 2014 I learned and grew a LOT!
