Artist's Description
A lush field of yellow wildflowers stretches out beneath a dense forest of green trees. The colors of the flowers contrast beautifully with the dark green foliage in the background. This image is one I captured when driving back roads in Texas. This field is in the hill country part of Texas. In the spring while wildflowers are blooming I see a lot of bluebonnets, so when I discover a field like this one full of yellow wildflowers, I have to stop and admire the scene. I spent 15 or 20 minutes around this field while I was taking in the beauty. This one displays quite nicely on metal.

I began my photographic journey in 1972 with a 35mm SLR camera. I learned quickly that I could control the way an image looked and make it look much better than most amateur photographers. Over the following decades, my interest in photography grew as I pursued a career in the high tech industry. Over the years I was encouraged by many friends to turn my "hobby" into a profession. It wasn't until 2002 that I took action and began my professional photography career on a part time basis. From 2002 through 2014 I learned and grew a LOT!
