Artist's Description
Arid, rocky terrain stretches across the foreground with mountain ranges rising majestically in the distance under a bright blue sky punctuated by fluffy white clouds. Diverse hues of brown and green define the landscape, creating a striking contrast against the vivid sky. The foreground begins with a view of the lip of the gorge, then becomes a flat expanse of scrubland and the background presents a mountain range. This is a view looking North from the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge in New Mexico. What a contrast when standing at the edge of the 600-foot-deep gorge, looking across flat scrub-brush land. A feeling of awe consumes me as I stare across the contrasting lands. Each time I look at this image that feeling is present again. This image printed 30" on the long side would look great in any room where the image of the mountain range evokes great memories or inspires dreams of future travels.

In 2014 I retired from my high tech career and in 2015 opened my professional photography business full time. My "why" is something I discovered after turning professional. When I began, I thought my...
