Artist's Description
A vintage sign displays "Luckenbach, Texas" with the phrase "Where Everybody's Somebody," indicating the location is a short distance away. The sign is set against a corrugated metal background, illuminated by two overhead lights. Luckenbach was founded in the 1800s by German settlers and is named after one of the founders of the town. Steinbeck stated "Texas is a State of Mind" and when you are in Luckenbach you will discover that he was right. Luckenbach is famous for the music acts it attracts and the laid-back environment. Many famous country western artists have played in Luckenbach and have drawn huge crouds. It's definitely a town worth visiting.

When I began, I thought my...
