Artist's Description

When I walked upon this sitting area in a lush garden, my first thought was "Rest your weary bones." So, I did! I had been walking and admiring this garden setting for about 2 hours when I discovered this bench. It was a perfect time for me to sit, and relax. Time to cool off during a hot late spring day. A rustic wooden bench is nestled among lush greenery, providing a serene spot for relaxation. Sunlight filters through the leaves, creating dappled patterns on the ground. Once I took advantage of the sitting area, I knew I had to capture the image. Each time I view this image I am taken back to that time when I was able to relax, cool off, do a little meditation, and deeply enjoy the surrounding garden and singing birds.

When I began, I thought my...
