Description

Wise County is north of the Dallas-Ft Worth area. Each county in Texas has a courthouse and the Wise County courthouse resides in Decatur, Texas. I love a road trip that takes me to a city/town where one of these historic courthouses resides. I will park my car and walk all around the courthouse, read the historical plaque, and admire the fine architecture of the building. A historic brick building with a clock tower and red-tiled roof stands prominently under a clear blue sky. The structure features intricate architectural details and is adorned with flags. This image is one I was happy to capture because the weather was great, and the courthouse was not undergoing any repairs. Also, I was able to be there when there were no people or cars to block the view. Personally I like this one printed on either canvas or metal.
